Boat Racing is our passion. Our research and development program for boat racing is that we race ourselves. This is the greatest teaching tool we have in order to know which products and materials to use and what works and does not work. We believe that it is better for us to test new products and ideas rather than experiment with our customers. Race boats that we work on typically do well.
Safety is a big issue with us; not only boat racing but with all boating. We want to be assured that when our customers leave our shop with their boat that they will have a safe and enjoyable experience aboard their craft.
What you see on TV is not the norm. There are relatively few crashes in this sport and most drivers are able to walk away. Statistics show that boat racing is a very safe sport. In general, with our racing experience and dedication to the sport, we have supported many changes and guidelines of improving Safety and Technology.
In the past, both Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. were the Technical Directors for the National Jet Boat Association. We continue to oversee and consult if there is a new rule or an issue that our input might benefit.
